direct Access to Physical Therapy
Direct access to physical therapy is your opportunity to be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist without first seeing your physician for a prescription. Providing patients and clients with direct access to physical therapist services saves money and prevents unnecessary delays in getting services that can affect recovery.
If payment is approved by your insurance company direct access is your opportunity to save time and money, thereby expediting your treatment, relief, and recovery.
Free Injury Screenings
What is a free injury screen? It is a free, face-to-face assessment with a physical therapist. Our goal is to find out why you hurt and what we think we can do to alter that problem. Patients do not have to have an acute injury or surgical history to take advantage of a free injury screen. Many people just want to know how to “feel better”. We use the word “injury” to mean anything that is keeping you from functioning at 100%.
By reviewing mild injuries or what you may think are unrelated questions, a physical therapist can start painting a picture of health and health challenges. The physical therapist will also identify any red flags (i.e. unknown origin of pain, night pain, unexplained weight loss) to determine if the patient is safe to start physical therapy, or needs to be sent to their primary medical practitioner.
Our Free Injury Screenings Consist of:
20-minute screening that measures strength, range of motion and flexibility
Assessment by a licensed physical therapist
Plan personalized to your body’s needs
Quick and convenient scheduling
