What is the “best” posture?  Is there a “best” posture?  Read more to find out.

Dan and I are big believers in the Dr. Hsu philosophy that the best posture is a “changing” posture.  What does this mean?  It is quite simple.  Your posture should be changing, dynamic and flowing throughout the day.  We should not be completely upright and erect all day, nor should we be completely hunched over all day.  In current society, with computers, cell phones, and other technologies, it is quite common to spend too much time in the forward head, rounded shoulders posture.  See below.

The following postural correction exercise is assuming you are frequently found in the above, forward head/rounded shoulders, posture.  See video below (1:06-2:15) for corrective exercise.

It is essential to remember that there is NOT a correct posture.  The correct posture is a CHANGING one.  Have a great week and don’t forget to live, laugh and love!
